DAY ONE

November 6th, 2020

Our evening began with videos for inspiration and definitions of entrepreneurship. We overviewed some keywords and models such as MVP - minimal viable product and the Business Model Canvas. We also watched a few presentation examples of products so we could see the format of a pitch. 

Here are some of the examples we watched:

 



After a quick class get-to-know-you, we started our elevator pitches. We each had 60 seconds to share our original idea with the class. After hearing everyone’s idea, we each got to pick a product we think would be effective. Our class chose 4 ideas: medication reminder app, grip for your fingers to protect from blisters, Braille for pianos, and plant pot outdoor plugs for campuses and outdoor spaces. 

From there Hannah (our team leader) picked the teammates she wanted and we found our working space for the weekend.
